Fondazzjoni Mid-Dlam Ghad-Dawl, together with IFT Malta and with the support of the
Ministry of Home Affairs, Security, Reforms and Equality, the Ministry for Justice and the
initiative Skema Solidarjeta mal-Vittmi tad-Droga, worked to create an engaging space,
outside of prison, where children and their incarcerated parents can converse, play together
and partake in activities to strengthen their relationships. This gives parents, who are
currently incarcerated the chance to continue parenting their children, while also allowing
the kids to maintain their childhood experiences. Hopefully this project will strengthen
family ties which are essential for fostering the kind of supportive relationship that benefits
the entire family as well as society.
